Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traveled to meet with national troops in the Donetsk region on the weekday. Zelenskyy announced that he consulted warriors at the command post of the 1st Corps of the Ukrainian National Guard Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya sector, a location approximately 20km from the city.

Volatile Circumstances in the Area

Updated analysis from a Ukrainian project indicated that opposition armies had pushed further into Pokrovsk and its environs, though significant areas remained beyond firm control by both forces. The conditions are severe, with updates indicating that opposition troops were fortifying positions and building up positions in some districts.

Invading troops are making progress in the Pokrovsk sector and are reportedly acting with increasing comfort within Pokrovsk itself.

Military experts noted that national troops had freed a large area of a enemy advance in the Dobropillya area, on the east side of the Pokrovsk operation.

National Drone Strikes Deep Inside the Federation

Ukrainian long-range drones attacked an industrial plant approximately 1,300km inside the federation at the city. Local officials announced a detonation at the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant that caused its water treatment facility to be compromised, adding that the reason for the blast was undetermined.
